In all honesty, I was filled with dread when I was told our group's studio design had been selected for ‘build your studio’ week. I may have photoshopped it to look super pretty, but our cost research was minimal at best and we definitely didn’t have a plan in place.
Regardless of this, with a little bit of organisational help from Max, Honor and Ian... I think it's going pretty well!
I've been the project manager this week - making sure we have everything we need and setting people tasks. It's been stressful, but we're nearly there, and some of my fellow SCAers have been absolute angels in helping out and going above and beyond what is expected. It's fair to say the last 2 days have given me a far clearer view on who I want to work with in the future (it won't be the ones who sat around doing nothing, or didn't even turn up - just sayin').
We get cracking on the murals tomorrow, and then it should all be pretty much done. I can't wait to share finished pictures and unveil our new studio to the world!
